Our Journey
Kelly has been
active in sports and fitness since she was a young girl, playing varsity sports
in high school and in college. Her early career included working in collegiate
and professional sports at the University of Southern California, the (then) Los
Angeles Raiders and the National Football League. Still, something seemed
missing so she decided to pursue her other lifelong interest: international
affairs. She went back to graduate school and landed a job working for the United Nations peacekeeping mission in
Bosnia and Herzegovina. This led to a series of jobs in government and national
security. Her journey into holistic health had begun.
“These jobs were high stress, long hours, lots of travel,
eating on the run and barely having enough time to sleep let alone exercise
properly or relax,” Kelly said. “My lifestyle wasn’t very conducive to living a
balanced, healthy life. I needed a new approach and my search led me to holistic
health. What I liked about it was its emphasis on prevention, balancing the
body, mind and spirit and using natural remedies to promote wellness.”
Over the course of several years Kelly benefited from a
number of holistic health solutions to her health concerns. “I have personally
had great success with a number of these therapies including guided imagery,
which relieved a persistent rash; acupuncture, which helped digestive trouble;
and nutritional and herbal therapies, which cleared a lung infection. Yoga
introduced me to meditation and I feel more calm and balanced as a result. My
weight has been stable for years. I also began studying energy healing and used
it with great success on myself, friends, family and pets.”
She found herself spending most of her spare time studying
various aspects of holistic health. Soon friends began to call her asking for
advice. “A number of them noted my passion for holistic health and encouraged me
to make this kind of service my career. That resonated with me so I decided to
enroll in a program to become a Holistic Health Practitioner.”
Along the way, Kelly explored guided imagery, energy
healing, meditation, herbal remedies, nutrition, environmental health,
acupuncture, massage, homeopathy and other alternative remedies. She also
continued her daily study and practice of yoga.
“By the time I finished my formal studies I had a strong intuitive
sense that this is what I was supposed to be doing. I feel very fortunate to be
able to help others learn more about living a balanced life and natural ways
that they can improve their health and well-being. You don’t have to be
stressed-out, in pain, overweight, or in general ill health. Our services are
designed to bring your body, mind and spirit into their natural balance. I would
be honored to be a part of your journey.”
In addition to her holistic health, yoga and energy healing
training, Kelly received both a Master’s Degree in Russian and East
European studies and a Master’s Degree in Journalism from Indiana University.
She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Information from the University of Southern
California. She has studied Croatian, Spanish, German and Czech.

Al served as a fighter pilot in the U.S. Air Force before
retiring and consulting in national security affairs. He began reading
extensively about self-motivation and holistic health practices in order to
counteract the stress of long hours and frequent travel overseas.
“A common thread running through most of my reading was
achieving and maintaining balance in life—establishing a connection with your body,
mind and spirit. The more I read the more I realized that I wasn’t living
in balance. I decided to try and change that and began a daily meditation
practice. This leads to a connection with your source. Being busy
doesn’t do it.”
As they say, one thing leads to another. Soon Al began
practicing yoga, eating more healthfully, taking supplements, using acupuncture,
Rolfing and massage therapy and practicing guided imagery. He also began reading
extensively about energy healing. Al received basic Reiki training and began to use it to
help friends, family and pets with headaches, muscle pain, emotional upset and
general health issues.
“Soon friends were calling me asking if I could send Reiki
for this or that ailment. I decided to pursue my studies further and am now a
Reiki Master Teacher and I'm also a Quantum Touch® Practitioner." Al is also an
Arcing Light Practitioner.
“Wellness is our natural state. It’s about maintaining
balance and harmony of your body, mind and spirit and the natural world around
us. My career up until this point had been about serving my country. In this
journey I have discovered new ways of serving that involve helping others use
their own natural healing powers to bring themselves into balance and enjoy a
healthy, happier life.”
Al received his Master's Degree in Security and Strategic
Studies from the Army Command and General Staff College. He graduated from the
United States Air Force Academy with a Bachelor’s Degree in Basic Sciences.
